Slouchy beanies are the best style of beanies. I know that’s quite a statement but hear me out.

Slouchy beanies are the easiest style of beanie to wear. You don’t have to worry about it looking too bulky or too kid-ish. It looks effortlessly cool and are the best beanies to wear with sunglasses because it sits on the back of your head.

A simple way to wear a beanie, and style I prefer, is slightly over your forehead on a downward angle towards the back of your head. Your bangs can or can’t peek out the front, it’s up to you. I don’t have bangs so I just leave my hair loose.

If you want a more relaxed look – pull the beanie until it passes your hairline and use your hair to frame your face.

Wearing a beanie may sound simple enough, but I’d argue it takes a bit more thought than you’d expect. Without the right styling, you could easily end up with a look that falls flat—think of it this way: Miroslava is undeniably stylish, but let’s be honest, few of us could pull off that particular aesthetic.

Fortunately, there are countless ways to style a beanie to suit your face shape and hair type. Try a slouchy beanie paired with a side braid or a low ponytail—experiment until you find what frames your face best and works with your hair texture.

Do you like wearing beanies during the winter? I’d love to hear how you style yours!
